Buena park's largest Halloween event has returned. The 37th annual Knott’s Scary Farm Haunt is back & bigger then ever. With monsters roaming & fog flowing throughout the air, the park has become everyone’s nightmare. Haunt is the ultimate & original Halloween experience ever in a theme park & the largest even in the amusement park industry.
The excitement began last night as thousands of boils & ghouls came out to play. With hundreds of monsters, demons & diabolical personas flooding the streets of Ghost Town, Carnevil & The Gauntlet (the essential scare zones) many of us fear for our life. As the adrenaline rushes & we grab the closet person next to us, we find ourselves struggling to survive the night. As the night gets darker & more friends come out to play we are looking forward to escaping the terror by sneaking into one of the shows.
Haunt provides a vast array of different shows including the most popular show The Hanging. The Hanging is a delicious look on the past year of pop culture. This cleverly witty & unpredictable show holds no prisoners or punches & with the media now a days we have a lot to choose from. At the end of the show one lucky member of our society is chosen for the hanging. Another popular & innovative show is Inferno. Inferno is a highflying, extreme stunt extravaganza. Fire & dance mix in the underworld where vampires rule. This show will gladly boil your blood in the hot & heavy beats of the dark lord. Providing laughs, seductive dancers & popular well-known songs this show deserves the name inferno. The hottest show of the night will have you hooked from the get go.
Along with the popular shows come the highly rated & anticipated new mazes of 2009. Haunt provides scares in 13 mazes throughout the park including four new pathways. One of the most anticipated new mazes is Dia de los Muertos 3D (Day of the Dead). In this maze you will encounter La Llorona (The Weeping Woman) who screams for her children of the night. Sacrificial blood rains down as the haunted legends carry souls throughout the night. Also venture into the forbidden jungle if El Chupacabra & the blood soaked lair of primordial demons. If you’re looking for other legends to come to life go in the Terror of London. As one of the townsfolk of London you will be taunted & tormented while on the run from Jack the Ripper & Dr. Jekyll. Blades, blood & twisted experiments cause mayhem in the streets of London, will you be another likely victim or will you surpass the madness.
Knott’s Scary Farm Haunt happens from September 24 – October 31. The nightmare begins at 7pm & ends at 1am or 2am depending on your night of stay.
