The Shops at Rossmoor yesterday announced the last two tenants to make the shopping center fully occupied. All six new tenants are scheduled to be opened by mid November. The latest shops are Soma Intimates and Chipotle.
By the end of the year, the new building at the front of the center will house Verizon Wireless, Subway, Yogurtland, and Chipotle, which will open in late 2010.
According to a company statement, Chipotle will “offer a focused menu of burritos, tacos, burrito bowls (a burrito without the tortilla) and salads made from fresh, high-quality raw ingredients, prepared using classic cooking methods and served in a distinctive atmosphere designed to combine the quality and atmosphere of fine dining with the speed and convenience of fast food.
Chipotle has gained fame for its distinctive ordering process that guarantees that your meal will be prepared exactly the way you like it. As you line up, each ingredient is laid out in front of you so you can choose the perfect combination to make your perfect meal and you can follow the process as your meal is prepared and handed to you almost instantly.”
Soma Intimates will be located next to Peet’s Coffee & Tea in Suite 12203 on Seal Beach Blvd. Soma Intimates is a division of Chico’s and offers its customers supremely comfortable, high quality bras, panties, sleepwear and relaxation wear. It is the only place to find the exclusive, patented Vanishing Edge Collection that erases lines under your clothes for a sleek and slimming silhouette. As of May 2010, Soma has opened 110 stores nationwide.
“We are thrilled to welcome Soma Intimates and Chipotle to the Center. Chipotle offers our community a fresh approach to the Mexican grill with a variety of menu options," said Madelyn Jackrel, President of Century National Properties. “Soma Intimates is the first store of its kind in the area. Knowing Soma Intimates is a division of Chico’s, we are assured they will be a great addition to our apparel line-up and offer shoppers a unique experience.”
The center previously announced Panera Bread, a bakery-café, will open at the center later this year. Yesterday, a company spokesperson told OC180NEWS, all of the new tenants should be open by mid-November. Panera Bread will be located in the Parasol building.
When the new building is complete, Verizon Wireless will move from their current location next to KFC. The center is currently negotiating with another tenant to move into the space currently occupied by Verizon Wireless.
