Los Alamitos is celebrating its 50th Anniversary! As part of the celebration, the City of Los Alamitos will be constructing the 50th Anniversary Courtyard presented by Southland Credit Union at Little Cottonwood Park.

The engraved bricks are now available for purchase! The bricks come in two sizes: the 4”x8” brick includes 2 lines of engraving and the 8”x8” brick includes 3 lines of engraving. Both brick purchases will include placement of the brick in the 50th Anniversary Courtyard and a certificate authorizing your brick purchase. The 4”x8” brick costs $50 and the 8”x8” brick costs $100. Multiple bricks are available for purchase; there is not a limit per individual.

Placement of the engraved bricks in the 50th Anniversary Courtyard has been divided into four phases. A deadline for phase 1 of Friday, September 17, 2010 has been set to guarantee that you will have your brick in the 50th Anniversary Courtyard’s grand unveiling scheduled for Thursday, September 30th at Little Cottonwood Park. The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm.
