Thanks for the time and energy you invest in reporting what's going on in Los Alamitos. As a "hobby" blogger myself (LetsFixLosAl.com: http://letsfixlosal.com/blog/ ), I know how much time it takes to research, organize, and write even a brief post.

Thanks for sitting through so many lengthy City Council meetings and reporting on key aspects, following up with interviews with key individuals. Unless I missed someone, none of the three "major" newspapers that supposedly cover our area had anyone present at the last Los Alamitos City Council Meeting, nor the two previous ones.

What used to be our two independent local weekly papers have now consolidated under one owner, and the only Los Alamitos neighborhood that The Sun now delivers to is Rossmoor Highlands.

Accurate information and a free press is absolutely essential to our democracy. OC180News.com helps fill a huge information void in our community.
