											<title>Los Alamitos School Board Votes To Increase Property Taxes</title>
											<description>&lt;P&gt;In an era when the Governor of California is required to get a vote of the people for a temporary half cent increase in sales taxes, The Los Alamitos Board of Education on a 5/0 vote, and with no discussion, on Tuesday increased property taxes. The Board’s action, which happens every year at this time, was expected and routine. Nevertheless, the approved increase, at 4.75%, was the maximum allowable increase.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
